Executive Director of the Year

Winner: Simon Hocquard, Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation

The judges said: “He managed to keep the lights on in an organisation badly affected by the pandemic. He pivoted a new course during this period which should allow the organisation to flourish in the future. Simon did a remarkable job as a leader and innovator, demonstrating clear purpose and deliver great value to the community.”

Association Executive of the Year

Winner: Cairo Okba, Grain and Feed Trade Association

The judges said: “Very impressive and complete accomplishment. A Manager that will turn into a Leader one day. Good example of as an association executive who has excelled in delivering a particular program and therefore enhanced the association's overall offering. Also a marked impact on the P&L. Well done!”

Best Campaign

Winner: Use Heart to Connect, World Heart Federation

The judges said: “A fantastic project; this campaign was well-planned and well-executed. This small team set out with a determination to make a difference. While the campaign benefitted from an impressive budget, knowing how to spend it in the most cost efficient and effective way is key. Each year, World Heart Federation strives to improve itself and every time it succeeds.”

Winner: #FoodHeroes, FoodDrinkEurope

The judges said: “A well crafted policy and advocacy campaign; the food industry voice is raised towards top decision and policy makers, in a very constructive and compassionate way. Inspiring and important project.“

Winner: ISE Global Education Hub, International Society of Endocrinology

The judges said: “ISE succeeded in excellent reach and content, and all funded by grants. An amazing job creating its first e-learning platform from scratch. This project is well thought through, comprehensive and focussed on the different elements and components to take into consideration when designing the educational activities of an association.”

Best Digital Transformation

Winner: Digital Transformation, Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining

The judges said: “A true digital transformation project that benefited not only the membership, but also those who work to deliver the membership programme by helping them be better at their jobs. Winner: SARS-CoV-2 Helpdesk and Distribution Centre for Social Services Providers, Association of Social Services Providers
