Nine categories with 27 shortlisted executives and associations took part in the International & European Association Awards ceremony on 3rd may at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna for a sumptuous dinner.

Executive Director of the Year

Winner: Anthony Wilkinson, RQA

The judges said:
"Leadership, expertise and determination. Anthony used the skills he gained in a start-up environment to turn around an association with financial difficulties and disengaged members."

Winner: World Obesity Federation - World Obesity Day 2016

The judges said:
"A great example of an international campaign making itself relevant to member countries. It was great to see some learning points included that demonstrate the organisation is keen to keep building and improving."
