Executive Director of the Year

Winner: Ben Beadle, National Residential Landlords Association

The judges said: "Ben clearly demonstrates engaged and active leadership for the NRLA staff and its members. He has made a great impact on the association as a whole and his creative solutions have lead to a successful and financially stable organisation for the future."

Association Executive of the Year

Winner: Lisa King, British Chiropractic Association

The judges said: “I am impressed by the candidate's commitment to delivering a best-in-class service and wrap-around support package for its membership community when most needed whilst at the same time, developing a long-term strategic vision that brings clarity, confidence and is ultimately, superbly communicated. A marvellous contribution at a hugely challenging time!”

Best Campaign

Winner: OPEN, Mental Health Foundation

The judges said: “An innovative and agile approach to work internally has amazing results with public engagement. Realistic goals, careful planning and solid execution produced very good results. Groundbreaking for the cause, but also for the internal culture of the organisation.”

Best Member Support during Covid19

Winner: Coronavirus: Information and Advice, Horticultural Trades Association

The judges said: “This association 'stepped up' to support its members during this difficult time by providing practical support, and involving its membership in research and campaigns and finding innovative ways to ensure the sector had a chance of survival."

Winner: A new website, CRM and members’ portal, Association for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine

The judges said: “This is an example of a well designed plan, having clearly identified the weaknesses in the previous system, that has subsequently focused on delivering to that plan to a high level of success.”
