About the Organisation

For over 30 years, Climate Alliance member municipalities have been acting in partnership with indigenous rainforest peoples for the benefit of the global climate. With over 2,000 members spread across more than 25 European countries, Climate Alliance is Europe's largest city network dedicated to comprehensive and equitable climate action. Recognising the impact our lifestyles can have on the world's most vulnerable people and places, Climate Alliance pairs local action with global responsibility.

The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub’s (EPAH) mission is to become the centre of energy poverty experience and expertise in Europe, providing direct support, online training, and research to local authorities and civil society organisations and by building a collaborative network of all stakeholders interested in acting to combat energy poverty in Europe.

Climate Alliance has coordinated the initiative from the start and works closely with the partner organisations AISFOR, Akaryon, Ecoserveis and Nova School for Science and Technology. In addition, 20 national organisations are closely involved, supporting EPAH’s mission at the local level. The activities of the current phase will last till December 2028.
