We now need a Second Senior Manager to help with our increasing involvement in the ever-changing global and regional and national neurological affairs. Not only do we have an enlarging expenditure need but we must plan more strategically and professionally - which is where the new position will reside.
Responsible to the Board of Trustees the new manager will work closely with the First Senior Manager on a daily basis. With excellent people skills alongside experience in the Not for Profit sector, and of selected sponsor funding and medical organisations you must be proficient in business and management skills. Knowledge of medical and federated global, regional or national speciality organisations and the willingness to develop these is important as will be the drive to explore and develop targeted funding streams.
In this role the new manager will communicate with third parties on behalf of the WFN at the discretion of the Executive, assist with the preparation of the annual WFN budget and formulate budgets for new initiatives have operational responsibility thereof and prepare an annual report for the Board of Trustees. With management responsibility for all such projects initiated by the Board you will provide regular updates and attend all formal Trustee meetings.
3 years renewable contract with a six month probation.
