Job description

The Global Infrastructure Investor Association (GIIA) is a membership body representing the leading investors and advisers in global infrastructure. GIIA works closely with policy makers, regulators and other industry bodies to achieve our shared ambition of increasing infrastructure investment around the world.

Due to membership growth, we are recruiting for a Membership Officer to join the team. This role will be part-time, 20 hours p/week, working 1 day in our Central London office. You will report to the Head of Communications & Marketing and work closely with key members of the team. Approaching 100 members, the Membership Officer will be a key point of contact for GIIA members.

Job Specification

  • To act as a key point of contact for all current
  • Develop a detailed understanding of our members to improve and maximise membership opportunities and increased engagement in all aspects of our work
  • Assist with building a high-quality list of prospective members
  • Provide high-quality customer service to members and prospective members through all forms of communication including phone, email, letter and face-to-face
  • Support with membership administration and reporting data onto our CRM
  • Ensure the CRM database and individual membership records are maintained in line with GDPR
  • Assist the Office Manager to ensure membership fees are paid on time

Skills, Experience and Attributes Required

  • Experience of working in a membership organisation or association
  • Clearly be able to demonstrate expertise in membership engagement
  • Self-motivated, able to adapt and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and enthusiastic individual
  • Good team player
