Exciting opportunity to join the leadership group of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), providing senior financial leadership across the organisation.
Heading up the finance team, you will provide expert advice and challenge to support the CSP to channel its resources to have the greatest impact on our members and the patients they serve, aligning our finances to our corporate strategy and operational plans.
The Assistant Director will lead strategic projects and cultural change intiatives to drive the professional standards of the CSP through business partnering and improved challenge, understanding, systems and processes, controls, procedures and the delivery of insightful management information. The role leads on the statutory accounts, management accounts and regulatory reporting and compliance across the organisation.
You will need to be a talented communicator, developing excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will translate the strategic aims and challenges into transformational plans, where colleagues and members are engaged, inspired and accountable for their role in their delivery.
Experience of working successfully at a senior level in a similar size organisation is essential, along with the ambition to play a significant role in the senior leadership of an organisation with our mission, vision and values.

*The CSP operates hybrid working where employees can work between their home and the office. Through discussions with line managers, the CSP encourages employees to decide how, when and where they work best in a way that balances the needs of the CSP, the team and themselves. Employees are still expected to attend the office for in person meetings when required for their role and the organisation. Homeworking is subject to meeting homeworking assessment requirements, which includes a minimum broadband speed of 18Mbps.
