Wednesday 15 April (Pre-Congress Day)

Medical Associations Meeting

Open to: Executives from medical associations (included in Full Delegate Pass)


By popular demand, this important meeting will be extended into nearly a full day prior to the main congress.  Themes will include successful sponsorship; medical association education; advocacy and campaigning; public outreach and many more focussed topics.

Association Leaders' Forum

Timings: 11:00 - 16:45
Open to: Association Leaders, Executive Heads and Directors


Exclusively for Executive Heads and Directors, this established element of the congress has been extended as part of the main two day programme. These sessions are by invitation only, to encourage open discussion and sharing of ideas amongst the most senior level executives. Ample time will be built into the sessions to allow for discussion of the key topics and sharing best practice. 

Events Strategy Forum

Timings: 11:00 - 16:45
Open to: Association Event Strategists (Directors & Heads of Department)


Designed for those heading up events team or those taking responsibility for major congresses, this forum explores the strategic elements behind planning and staging successful events. Inspiring speakers will bring new ideas and case studies about their innovations to the forum to help you review and refresh your events portfolio. This key area will be featured over the two days of the congress.

Destination Day

To attend the day you need to have an event in-mind to bring to Cascais/Estoril and select this option when you register for the congress. Your request will be considered by the host destination and you will be contact directly by them.
