Airport Info

Airport buses – Aerobus

The advantage of the bus is that it is direct and does not need a connection, but is slightly more expensive. The Aerobus departs from the arrivals terminal and there is a service every 20 minutes with a ticket costing €4.00.

The Aerobus would need to be combined with the train (comboios) as the aerobus leaves the airport and goes to Cais do Sodre, and from there you can get the train straight to Estoril.

The journey from Lisbon to Estoril takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.

Airport Taxi

A taxi hired directly from the arrivals lounge and is an efficient way to travel to Cascais.
If you do take a taxi always ensure the meter is switched on or agree a price before leaving.

Uber is also available in Portugal and is approximately EUR24

A taxi, Uber or private transfer from Lisbon airport to Cascais takes around 35-40 minutes but will be much longer during the evening rush hour.

Take the metro at the Airport direct to Cais do Sodré. This is one of the gates of Lisbon! There is also a shuttle that takes you there (7:00 AM – 11:20 PM), every 20 minutes.

From Cais do Sodré, take the CP train (5:30 AM – 1:30 AM) directly to Cascais.

The train trunning from Lisbon to Estoril station takes approximately 1 hour 25 minutes and cost less than EUR6.
