Take this opportunity to enjoy a little fun with a beer tasting, networking and discussion on the topic of international association event challenges. The AAE tasting series has proved very successful with senior association executives attending.
The format includes a short welcome followed by a 20-minute tasting, talk and Q&A with an expert from Gweilo beer, and then facilitated discussion, all for an hour with the option of staying on if you like.
The tasting itself takes place on Zoom at 5pm on Thursday 19 November. You will receive the craft beer along with snacks, couriered in advance to your location.
This event is sponsored by Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong who are interested in hearing and discussing challenges from event organisers.
The Craft Beer & Brewery
500,000 rivets. 700,000 parts. 6,000 craftsmen. That was the dedication that went into building a Douglas DC-3 in the 1940s - including Betsy, Cathay Pacific's very first aircraft. This beer is a homage to the heart and soul poured into the original Betsy. Flavours of mandarin orange, lovingly tuned for altitude; with the finest barley and hops, carefully balanced for depth and aroma. The result is a handcrafted Pale Ale that tastes great anywhere, but really takes off at 35,000 feet.
Gweilo was founded in 2015 to create fun, fresh, natural, unpasteurised beers for the people of Hong Kong and Asia to enjoy. It has a core range of six beers, a Limited Range, a Collaboration range and in time, will be introducing barrel aging and sour programs.
